Before I finish though, I think it’s worth mentioning that I’ve been getting quite a few emails informing me of the Funimation poll by people who have just found it. While I thank you all for informing me of news, the poll is now two months old and Funimation has most likely got what they wanted from it.
I’ve also seen a few tweets lately by people who have emailed Funimation directly or met Funimation people at cons and have been told that Sailor Moon was just thrown into the poll at the last second out of curiosity and was not a series that they were planning to release.
Of course the HUGE response on the poll now probably has them thinking about getting Sailor Moon (and Sailor Stars) but I don’t think the poll was as big as we all originally hoped.
You never know though. Sailor Moon’s bound to be rereleased sooner or later. It’s only a matter of time.
