In Brief: Unlike the other Sailor Soldiers in the live action Sailor Moon, Sailor Venus had several real time attacks before getting her first "stock footage" attack scene, Venus Love Me Chain.
As in the manga, Sailor Venus uses the actual chain which hangs around her waist for her attack. Sailor Venus wore no chain in the anime as all the Sailor Soldier designs were simplified to make animating faster and easier for the animators (Sailor Jupiter also lost her chain/belt for example) so in that version of the attack she summoned the belt magically. Funnily enough once this attack sequence is finished in the live action the chain seems to transform magically into the gold shiny version seen in the anime. [See the episode guide for Act 18 for an example of this.]
Cultural:"Aphrodite (or Venus in Roman mythology) wore a girdle as an erotic ornament, and would give it to her mortal lovers. This enchanted garment acted as a chain, ensnaring the lover and blinding him to all but her beauty."

The Move: Sailor Venus reaches to her left and unstraps her "Love Me Chain". She then extends it above her head with both arms and holds it there as it glows a bright gold, charging with energy. She then spins around, draws it to her left hip and then thrusts it out like a whip at the opponent.
Once activated the chain energises into a pure gold magical energy weapon.
