Bumper 4

The fourth and final Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon episode bumper began appearing with Act 45 and continued to appear on the remaining episodes of the series with the exception of the Final Act which featured no bumper at all.

The bumper consists of two shots, both of which fade into each other featuring two Princess Sailor Moons holding the alternate forms of the Moon Harp and then a final shot of Princess Sailor Moon holding it in it's main harp form. A reminder is written at the bottom of the screen reminding the viewer that the show is fictitious.

Worth noting is the fact that this bumper does not appear on any of the live action Sailor Moon DVDs and was only seen during the tv broadcast of the show in Japan. The reasoning for this would be that as with all the bumpers, when released on DVD, they were removed from the end of the episodes with which they aired with on tv and added at the end of the final episode on the disk. Because the final episode on the final DVD was the last in the series and the character of Princess Sailor Moon has moved on by the time the episode ends, adding her in kick arse scary mode at the end would have seemed an odd choice (Note: This is just my theory).

It is strange though that this bumper wasn't at least added as an extra feature.
