Yes, Sailor Saturn does appear in the Sailor Moon Crystal anime series. While Sailor Saturn is absent in the first two seasons of Sailor Moon Crystal, she's a major player in Sailor Moon Crystal Season 3. Sailor Saturn was voiced by Yukiyo Fujii in the original Japanese version of Sailor Moon Crystal and Christine Marie Cabanos in the English dub.

Hotaru's first appearance in Sailor Moon Crystal is in Season 3's second episode, Act 27 Infinity 1 - Premonition - Part 2. After her initial appearance, Hotaru becomes a major supporting character and eventually evolves into somewhat of a main villain for the season. Hotaru's Sailor Guardian identity, Sailor Saturn, has a strong presence throughout Sailor Moon Crystal Season 3 but she doesn't properly appear until the season's twelth episode, Act 38 Infinity 11 - Infinite – Judgement.

If you just want to see Sailor Saturn in action in Sailor Moon Crystal, check out the final two episodes of Season 3, Act 38 and Act 39. However, I personally think Sailor Saturn fans should watch all 13 episodes of Sailor Moon Crystal Season 3 as Hotaru is featured heavily in most of them and the nature of Sailor Saturn and her ability to end the world is a main focus throughout.

Sailor Saturn is featured heavily in Sailor Moon Eternal Part 2, the second of the two Sailor Moon Eternal movies which continue the story established in Sailor Moon Crystal.

Is Sailor Saturn in Sailor Moon Cosmos?

Yes, Sailor Saturn does appear in the two Sailor Moon Cosmos movies which essentially act as Season 5 of Sailor Moon Crystal. Due to the number of Sailor Guardians in these two anime movies though, Sailor Saturn's role in Sailor Moon Cosmos isn't as large as it was in Sailor Moon Eternal Part 2 and Sailor Moon Crystal Season 3.

The Sailor Moon Crystal Sailor Saturn Transformation

While Sailor Saturn does awaken in Sailor Moon Crystal Season 3, she doesn't get a proper transformation sequence until Sailor Moon Eternal Part 2. Sailor Moon Eternal is a pair of anime movies that act as Sailor Moon Crystal Season 4.

It's unknown if Sailor Saturn will have a transformation sequence in Sailor Moon Cosmos. I'll update this page once the films come out.
